Parker Swift was born in Columbus, GA in 1970. While attending Brookstone School in the 1970s, his exposure to dancing was limited to Saturday Night Fever and several episodes of Jake and Elroy Blues performing on Saturday Night Live.
Upon graduating from high-school, Parker found that dancing in the early nineties would be a particularly challenging endeavor as he had to withstand the negative influences of the Athens "grunge" scene while spending four, (and a quarter) glorious years at the University of Georgia. After his stint at UGA, Parker finally found his niche while "cutting the rug" for Columbus Carpet Mills. In 1996, Parker met the love of his life, Paige, and they were married on the coast of Nantucket. Paige and Parker have three wonderful children, Parker (11), Vivian (8), and William (3).
Currently, Parker is an investment advisor for Reliance Trust helping clients with all of their financial needs.
Parker looks forward to helping raise awareness of Alzheimers, and hopes that he can encourage others to show their support in the fight against this terrible disease.
A special thanks goes out to Parker's partner, Carol Woolbright, who has molded Parker into a fierce dancer eager to carry on the tradition of the Spanish matador in the Paso Doble.
