A native of Columbus, Abbott enjoys golf, hunting, reading and spending time with his family. Abbott is married to his high school sweetheart Cathey, they have 4 wonderful children,Clark (wife Lori), Abb, Ashley and Brooke. He saved the best for last 2 beautiful granddaughters Delaney and Julianne.He is a partner in "Char-Broil Steakhouse", were you will find him most evenings helping in the kitchen. Abbott is excited (nerves) to be part of "Dancing Stars of Columbus 2009" and believes in the important mission of the Alzheimer's Association. Abbott hopes that his willingness to humiliate himself (and his entire family) dancing for your votes, will be enough to help in his efforts to raise funds and awareness to combat this terrible disease. "PLEASE VOTE" now, every dollar raised is worth one vote and he "might" need all the sympathy votes he can get !!!! Abbott has seen the devastating effects Alzheimer's can have on families and their loved ones. It's time for all of us to help find a cure for this dreaded disease.
